About Our Chef

Chef de Cuisine Arturo Elias brings a deeply personal touch to every dish, making full use of his traditional French training while also drawing inspiration from memories of cooking side-by-side with his grandmother in Mexico. His multicultural experience shines through in bold, flavorful accents that add a unique twist to Mid-Atlantic fare, blending time-honored techniques with a passion for innovation.

With our unique spaces, including the intimate Private Dining Room connected to the outdoor South Terrace, the stunning Blue Willow Room featuring the Blue Willow Wall art installation and the open kitchen Main Dining room, which boasts sprawling views of the surrounding city, Estuary can host events from 15 to 100 people.

Join Chefs Andrew Whiteside and Arturo Elias this holiday season as we celebrate an upscale take on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. This four-course prix-fix menu combines the comforting classics you expect to see at any Thanksgiving table with Estuary’s singularly bold take on Chesapeake cuisine. This elevated menu includes a selection of plated small bites and salad, culminating in a show stopping spread of turkey roulade, honey glazed ham, and bountiful sides.

CityCenter Tree Lighting

The season officially begins with CityCenterDC’s Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 29, where guests may enjoy a coveted vantage point overlooking the 70-foot illuminated tree from the lounge at Estuary. Sip handcrafted seasonal cocktails and savor elevated fare as the city glows with holiday cheer. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Santa will be on-site to greet guests, take photos, and listen to wish lists.

Brunch with Santa

At Estuary, families can also enjoy our highly anticipated Brunch with Santa on Sunday, December 21, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM—an experience designed to create lasting holiday memories.

Ring in 2026 at Estuary with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration set against floor-to-ceiling views of CityCenter’s iconic Christmas tree.
